I've been painting for forty years,mostly in oils, but also enjoy watercolour and figure drawing. Primarily self taught I have studied with Mark Dailey at the Art Students League in Denver and have done workshops with Ray Vinella, Ted Goershner, and Matt Smith.
My landscapes in oil begin "en plein air" and are finished in the studio. These studies often become a larger piece aided by photographic references.
